Part two of our introductory topic, ID Security, focuses around real world solutions.
Our first offering for this introduces Techwealth Labs; an area offering students opportunities to discover, learn, and build with a wide variety of technologies. We’re proud to offer the first technology in this section called “Mobile Student OS”. We believe this technology shows great potential to benefit students and their communities.
Further details, and opportunities to get involved are available at MobileStudentOS.

ID Security Evolved (Part One)

Originally intended as an introduction to the diverse design of Techwealth, the topic, ID Security has quickly evolved to demonstrate why it was chosen first. Recently, Austin, Texas (Techwealth division headquarters)- along with the whole state of Texas, suffered an ID security breach of record proportion. This private information is reported to have been left unprotected on an Internet server for more than a year; in three different databases.
One point of interest at Techwealth is learning how many of the 3.5 million people were students.

Gaining attention from shocking bad news, negative focus on political, racial, or any other part of world society is not a part of Techwealth.
This video helps to demonstrate recent events adding direction in R&D at Techwealth. Our main focus has temporarily shifted towards providing solutions in ID security- rather than providing advanced study in this subject matter. Advanced study is equally important. ID security solutions for students are great. However, they are effected by factors beyond their control (such as government entities).
Progress with providing ID security solutions is going well. Opportunuties to participate will be available in the near future. R&D in advanced study also continues. Some resources of exploration will be provided soon (for the United States). Got some keen insight for another country? If so, please let us know.
More to come… Stay Tuned….
Techwealth encourages everyone to participate in order to help students, and those involved with building their future.

First Introduction Post to Include ID Security

Techwealth has chosen the subject of ID Security as the first part of our introduction. We will be including a variety of resources to help students explore this subject, and make their own choice as to it’s benefits. The first post is less of a resource, and more of an introduction of certain concepts. It is video presentation of a company(MyDex) discussing their desire to allow individuals to own their identity. It is not an endorsement, for the company itself, nor for their design concept- although these ideas are encouraging (However, their current main focus is in the UK). A few main points to consider are as follows…. Mention of Social Networks, Ownership of ID information, reversal of power, building trust, and among a few others, one mention of a CIC (community interest company). Techwealth™ is structured as a L3C organization (Non profit cause w/corporate attributes). We have inherent attributes of a CIC, and look forward to exploring options to become a full fledged CIC. Currently you can find the video at gooddeals.indigopapa.tv/mydex.org. Please be advised, there are a few curse words not fit for a younger audience toward the end of the video. (second one from the bottom) and more info about mydex at mydex.org.
